At the entrance to lobby, there is a nice colourful flowers potted which really attract my attention.

Your can find lots of drawings, artworks and carving inside the hotels and rooms. This Huadan drawing is the most favourite drawing I found in this hotel… like it ~

There are different type of rooms available in the hotel: 1 bedroom, 1 room with living room, 2 or 3 or 4 rooms with living room, 1 bedroom with separate kitchen, and studio type apartment. We had book an one room apartment with kitchen at a promotion rate.

We stayed at  fifth floor with a nice city view, and inside the room has a double bed, flat screen TV, bathroom, safe box, and kitchen with pots, bowl, etc.

Our room had breakfast complimentary but choices are limited. What we had for that morning: Fried mee, fried rice, fried sausage and boiled egg, bread, watermelon, coffee, tea, cold water and blue colour drink. Hmm.. I think they should at least prepare hot water, which is more suitable for kids and elders.

Other facilities in the hotel: Comfortable lobby waiting area, internet service, convenience shop, Gymnasium, restaurant and 24 hours CCTV security monitoring

I can say that there has a good security system, where hotel guests only able to access to their room floor and hotel car park with their room key.

Crown Dynasty Restaurant 皇朝餐厅@ Bintulu

4-star2

A night staying in Bintulu, we had went Crown Dynasty Restaurant for dinner with some relatives. The Restaurant is just located nearby the hotel we staying, along the Jalan Tun Razak if not mistaken, with a big bright signboard that I am sure many people passing by the road will see it.

The restaurant seem quite new, with few flat screen television attached on the wall. Where ever you are sitting, you surely can watch your television programs without turning your head around. Furthermore, they having two different tv channel showing to customers and at my dining time, there are showing sport and variety show… means, me and hubby can watch our favourite shows separately without complaining… ^_^ … what a nice restaurant..

Ok, back to the menu… is an aunty of mine who do the ordering, so I just show the foods we had with simple introduction.

IMG-20130413-01276

Milky Fish Soup… similar with the Fish Head Meehun (鱼头米粉), but this was fish meat soup.

IMG-20130413-01275

Pork Leg… no unpleasant pork smell, was spicy but yummy… ~~

 IMG-20130413-01281

Bitter Gourd with Salted Egg…. Frankly speaking, I didn’t try this dish because I do not like bitter gourd.. hehe

IMG-20130413-01277

Fried Vege… simple but tasty

IMG-20130413-01279

Fried Mix Vege with Tofu…. Like the tofu and leek

IMG-20130413-01282

Steam Cod Fish… taste fresh.. this was the last dish we had and I already felt very full at that time, just tried a bit… not bad hor~

Overall, all foods were yummy and environment was comfortable, suitable for family dining.

Get attracted by their fish ball signboard, look yummy. Well, we were too hungry to consider any other restaurants after some long way from airport to hotel, straight away we go and order at the counter… FAST, QUICK, HURRY!!!

There few type of noodles we can choose: Mee Pok, Mee Kia, Bee Hoon, Yellow Noodle, Kway Teow, and Mee Tai Mak.

Not too remember what is this dish (too hungry)….
Overall, the fish ball and soup were tasty (But i still think the Cheras fish ball noodle is the best fish ball I had ever taste).  All noodles and fish ball soup are charged SGD 3.50 per bowl except for Abalone Noodle price SGD5, which I didn’t order, well, first day of the journey must keep budget in every spending … @_@
Extra topic: Found that inside the restaurant there is a economy rice stall and what we can see was the stall provided a lots of different types of choices and all look yummy …. too bad we had already ordered the fish ball noodles.
